The South Florida Sailfish Series or "SFSS" is comprised of multiple Sport Fishing Tournaments throughout the South Florida Area. The SFSS is an Open Sailfish Tour to both Professionals and Amateurs. Fishing Teams/Boats will accrue points based off the results and their ultimate finishes after completing sailfish tournaments throughout Miami and the Florida Keys sailfishing tournament circuits. The fishing teams’ accumulated points from their five (5) best individual tournament finishes will ultimately determine the SFSS overall standings and will be used in order to evaluate and assess overall team performance, consistency, and establish rankings and standings throughout the sailfish tournament trail. The overall goal and purpose of the SFSS is to promote awareness of Sport Fishing in South Florida and global marine conservation through competition and sportsmanship.
